On October 9th and 10th, 2024, Lyon will host the ATMOS’FAIR conference, a major event dedicated to air quality.
Organized under the theme 'From Research to Operational Solutions', this conference will bring together experts, researchers, tech companies, and decision-makers to exchange on the latest advancements in the fight against pollution.
Air quality is a major concern in many parts of the world, and this event aims to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and concrete actions on the ground
Among the speakers at ATMOS’FAIR, Ecomesure, a company specializing in air quality monitoring solutions, will actively participate in the event.
We will speak on October 10th at 4:40 PM to present a project conducted in Noisy-Le-Grand, a city located in the eastern suburbs of Paris, as part of the "Quartiers Métropolitains d'Innovation" experimental program.
This project is innovative in two ways. On one hand, it is a technological experiment involving real-time measurement of air quality and mobility flows to understand the impact of transport on pollution. On the other hand, the city is testing a temporary urban planning setup. This temporary arrangement aims to trial new urban configurations with the goal of improving air quality and living conditions for residents.
This two-pronged approach not only allows the collection of accurate data on pollution and mobility but also tests practical solutions on the ground. The objective is to guide public policies with reliable data while enabling the city of Noisy-Le-Grand to validate urban planning hypotheses before adopting permanent measures.
